We have been keeping busy here, but I wanted to say hello and thank you all for your continued support of Leafygreen.info. We had a great turnout at Cupcakefest and the Fancy Food Show was great too.

I was emailed some information about a Vegan Etsy. If you don’t know what Etsy is, well you are missing out. A vegan shop basically to produce vegan handcrafted art and to give back to the community. Pretty cool stuff. Check it out and don’t forget about CUPCAKEFEST!

Anyone going to Global Green in Jersey City, NJ or to Go Green Expo in NYC? I headed to Global Green yesterday. Lots of vendors and fresh, local, organic food as well as speakers. I got to see the Gov’ner of Jersey up close and personal. That was kind of neat. Go Green will be fun, we’re heading there Sunday!

This weekend update is a little different than the past few. I wanted to say hello to anyone who is checking out Leafygreen.info for the first time. You may have met me over at the Piebald show in NYC last night and if so, hello!
Yes, it’s that time again. Weekend Update time… time to check some old reviews, click some links and see what’s happening in the green world. As always, the last two weeks of reviews are online on the main page below and the complete archive is always available here or up there. Yesterday, we introduced What’s Cooking? It’s a new review-type of post. What’s Cooking? will contain ingredients and such from various companies. Send us your recipes if you’ve got them. We’ve also started adding other links to our blogroll. Click over to the right already.
In case you missed it, we’ve been receiving some attention in the past few weeks. Not only being featured in The Bergen Record, but at the first ever professional basketball game that was 100% Carbon Neutral. The Nets are going green and we are pleased to be part of history.
