Garbage Transformed into Incredible Green Art Installation

It’s an unfortunate but necessary evil that trash has to lay littering the streets until collection. It’s not clean and it’s not pretty. Well, it wasn’t until artist Adrian Kondratowicz collaborated with Renee Mlynaryk to design and produce a range of colorful trash bags which have decorated the streets of New York since May this year.

Shocking Space Debris Images

The German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ, German only) today published an article on space junk. The shocking image is an eye opener. Humankind continues to repeat the mistake of strewing waste into common spaces (no pun intended) without a thought to the consequences, leaving costs we don't want to pay today for the future generations. Beachgoers Leave 6 Million Tons of Trash

If you pay any attention to the media-driven vision of the beach, you understand that it’s a pristine, beautiful place that we all go to on vacation, and leave no trace of our existence on once we leave.

The Ocean Conservancy has a bit of a wake up call after tallying the results of their International Coastal Cleanup Day: there was six million tons of trash - non in total, but which was actually collected.
